Some people love it, some people hate it. This time I reviewed a C4 Corvette together with my good friend and fellow YouTuber “TheCorvetteBen”
I had never driven a C4 corvette before this point. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome, and had a lot of fun driving it as you can see below.
80's - CHECK (I am a kid of the 80's... so yeah)
V8 - CHECK (Got to love a v8)
Manual - CHECK (Do I even have to explain that one?)
What is your opinion about the early C4's? I would love to know!

I like the early C4 because it’s cheaper, which makes it perfect for replicating the absolutely awesome Time Attack someone in my area runs at track days. Modern-er LS/T56 setup, but gutted and caged and cheap.

Once again, C4 cluster is the best cluster.

My dad has an 88' C4 Convertible with the 4+3 Transmission. Its fun to ride around in. Personally not the one I would have chosen, but quite enjoyable none the less.

100% agree! I loved it! And I loved how Chevy cheated the system and allowed the digital readout to read higher than 85!

Man, that must run like a rabid dog with that setup! I loved it with the L98 powerplant. More power? Oh yes!

It’s running massive tires all around as well. Stabbed rat only begins to describe it. Sounds like Thor gargling hammers, too.

That just makes me want to get one of those C4's... Dammit... Chevy is beginning to rub off on me...

Personally? I see absolutely zero reason to hate on any C4 Corvette. Sure, looks are subjective (I think they look fantastic, but some don’t), and some people hate the interior (again, subjective, I love it). But otherwise, what better performing car can you get under $10k? Pulls at or over 0.9g on a skid pad, decent HP stock with plenty of aftermarket support, gobs of low-end torque, killer braking, endless amounts of nostalgia, etc.
Now, I may be a bit biased, but whatevs. I love mine, and I’d suggest one to anyone.

Couldn’t agree more... I want one... 89... So I can get that digi dash and the 6 speed! Ultimate 80's POWER!
